Somerville High School’s Rowing Team in Massachusetts Receives Donation from Henson Rowing
Somerville, MA – Donation of Henson Rowing Tech Shirts provides Somerville High School with Rowing Teams’ First Rowing Specific Apparel
The Somerville High School athletes have more confidence at the race course looking every part the rowers that they are, rather than the previous uniforms!
Somerville High School’s rowing team is small but growing. The rowers have always faced an uphill battle with recognition within the school about the team’s existence and Athletic Directors and Equipment Managers who didn’t quite know what to do with them for uniforms. Between Henson Rowing and the R.E.A.C.H.E.S. program, those worries are gone. The athletes now have custom designed tech shirts that mimic the school’s blade and make the kids easy to spot on land and water. The athletes have more confidence at the race course looking every part the rowers that they are, rather than the previous uniforms that were track and field jerseys. The kids are proud to represent Somerville, and Somerville High Rowing looks forward to working with R.E.A.C.H.E.S. in the future to keep the confidence high and the uniforms sharp.

(Rewarding Educational Athletic Choices Helping Each Sport) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2007 in an effort to promote, protect and preserve the integrity of amateur athletics by providing athletic and educational opportunities to all athletes of all ages and abilities. This unique experience will provide educational, technical, and lifelong lessons for athletes, coaches, parents and fans that seek to capture meaningful, compassionate, harmonious, interesting and active lives.
