Reaches Sports donates equipment to Myers Park Traditional Elementary School’s New Lacrosse Program
Charlotte, NC – adidas Lacrosse, recently presented members of the Myers Park Traditional Elementary school with 50 pairs of gloves and 25 girl’s sticks to help launch their new lacrosse program. Myers Park has almost 100 boys and girls participating in this year’s inaugural program.
Julie Valbuena, head of the local youth club, had this to say, “At a difficult economic time, where no budget was available to finance expensive equipment, the launch seemed impossible. Reaches Sports has made a significant impact on our program allowing us to expose the children to the sport of lacrosse as well as teach good sportsmanship and the benefits of exercise.”
Valbuena went on to say, “I am very excited to be associated with adidas Lacrosse and the R.E.A.C.H.E.S. program. They continue to make a positive impact on athletic programs like the one at Myers Park. With this help from R.E.A.C.H.E.S. Myers Park Traditional Elementary will be able to lay a foundation of a club that will thrive for years to come. The Reaches organization is a great source of assistance for sports across the nation. ”
