Baltimore, Maryland – May 1, 2009 – Adidas National Lacrosse Classic (www.adidasNationalLacrosseClassic.com), one of the premier high school lacrosse events in the United States, today announced its donation that aims to give back to the lacrosse community.
Level 2 Sports, the event organizer has donated event proceeds from the 2008 adidas National Lacrosse Classic to R.E.A.C.H.E.S.  (Rewarding Educational Choices Helping Each Sport), a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2007 in an effort to promote, protect and preserve the integrity of amateur athletics by providing athletic and education opportunities to all athletes of all ages and abilities.
This unique experience will provide educational, technical, and lifelong lessons for athletes, coaches, parents and fans that seek to capture meaningful, compassionate, harmonious, interesting and active lives.
All  contributions to R.E.A.C.H.E.S, will be used to support specific needs in earmarked sports to ensure future generations can continue to learn from valuable lifelong lessons sports has to offer.
The adidas National Lacrosse Classic features the top 500 high school underclassmen players in the country as a showcase for NCAA and MCLA lacrosse coaches and scouts. 20 regional teams from California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Texas compete for a National Championship to determine the best region for high school lacrosse in the United States.  The winning team qualifies to play internationally against Canada for The Brogden Cup. This award is on display at the U.S. Lacrosse Hall of Fame in Baltimore, Maryland.
