Forest City Little Indians Wrestling Club receives Singlet Donation
FOREST CITY, IOWA, September 2, 2009 - Today the Forest City Little Indians Wrestling club received a donation of 30 wrestling singlets from R.E.A.C.H.E.S.
“The donation of the singlets will help take some pressure off of parents needing to outfit their children with a new singlet and hopefully help more kids stay active in the sport of wrestling throughout these tough economic times.” said Jeremy Jordahl. “When a wrestler in our club gets new gear they donate their old gear to the club to be used by another wrestler. This give-back approach allows even the donation of one singlet to help multiple kids as their old gear is handed down. The donation of 30 singlets by R.E.A.C.H.E.S. will help countless kids over many wrestling seasons as kids who outgrow their gear give it back to the club.”
“Brute and adidas are the driving force behind REACHES and I think what they are doing to support wrestling throughout the country is really a blessing.” said Jeremy Jordahl. “They put on a great national tournament, the Brute adidas Nationals, from which all the proceeds are donated to wrestling programs across the country.” “We plan on encouraging our wrestlers to participate in the next tournament in 2010 and give back to the people at Brute adidas who have given us a much needed gift.”
